‘Babcary Harvest Crafts, Hand-Made & Vintage Fair’

Booking Information.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in the ‘Babcary Harvest Crafts & Vintage’ it is an undercover fair in a large marquee aimed at dealers, artists and local producers to showcase and sell their goods. Whilst in doing so creating a charming day out at the beautiful Village of Babcary for both the exhibitor and the customer and in the process raising money for the Babcary Community. The event takes place on Saturday 10th September  from 10pm until 3pm. Exhibitors may offload and set up on Saturday morning from 9.15pm. Stalls must stay up until 3.00 and be vacated by 4.00pm.

The event itself will be located in a large marquee on the Village Playing Field, the Red Lion Pub  is a minutes’ walk away. The village is located just off the A37, if coming from Shepton it is the next left after the Lydford Crossroads, or from Podimore it is right just after the chicanes in the road. From the A303 the turn off is between Sparkford and Podimore.  TA11 7EA. Parking is Free.

Catering:

Tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits will be available to buy in the village hall, for exhibitors, stall holders and customers.  There is also a toilet on site.

Should you wish to cater or entertain the visitors or sell appropriate refreshments for a percentage fee, please contact Carole to discuss arrangements and possibilities.

Advertising:

The event will be widely advertised via the internet through facebook/twitter and our blog: http://www.thesixpilgrims.wordpress.com. You may also send us a picture of your goods for us to show on our blog post about who will be there. Posters and leaflets will be broadcast at prior vintage fairs in the South West, and if you would like to request some for your shop or a fair you may be attending please state on back of booking form. Additionally I can send you a poster/facebook/blog link for you to advertise on your website if you so wish. Further advertising will be in the local media.

Payment and attendance:

Payment via cheque, made out to ‘Babcary Community Committee’. Once I have received your booking forms,  If you wish to cancel at a further date, this must be stated by 10th August and 50% of the fee will be refunded. CONTACT via the form to get our address.

Terms and conditions for exhibitors attending

Damages, Adaptation and Decoration:

Exhibitors and stall holders will take full responsibility for any damage caused by any person associated with the company whilst on the premises. Under no circumstance should any flammable liquid or substance be bought on to the premises.

Liability for loss:

We cannot accept any responsibility for the loss, damage, safety and theft of belongings to individuals and stock brought to display at the event.

Public liability insurance:

It is understood that the exhibitor/stall holder has a current liability insurance to cover any eventualities that may occur.

Electrical appliances:

Any electrical appliance whilst on site must comply with the PATT tested ruling.

Setting up and dismantling:

The venue will be available on Saturday 10th July from 9.15  am to offload and set up stalls.  Packing up to go MUST be finished by 3.30 pm.  Exhibitors must wait to dismantle their stalls until 3pm when the show is finished. The venue must be clear by 3.45pm.
